3. Information provided on this site is intended to providea starting point for encouraging job activities within the childcare sector but is supplied as is and should not be used without appropriate checks, as suggested below.

4. Job adverts should be clear and understandable and should not refer to any endorsement of the Tees Valley Children's Information Service.

5. Jobs should contain a closing date and as soon as possible after that date, the job provider should contact their local Children's Information Service office and request that the job be removed from the website.

6. When shortlisting applications for jobs, providers must confirm that the details on the application forms received are accurate, and should view all documentation to ensure that applicants are qualified, experienced, and have had appropriate police checks, prior to their appointments.

7. Providers should inform their local Children's Information Service office once a person has been appointed so that our records can be kept up to date.
